The Eye on the Reef Sightings Network is a crowdsourced monitoring program run by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) to monitor the health of reefs and wildlife in real-time.
James lead a team to prototype, design, develop the website, iPhone, and Android applications for the GBRMPA. As lead developer James was responsible for architecture and planning as well as development and deployment duties.
The ThinkSpatial company website was overhauled to provide existing and potential customers information about our products and services. The major aim of the project was to provide clear information and ease of use regardless of platform or device.
Using CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript, James delivered a modern, responsive, device-agnostic website.
Position++ is the leading online GPS processing service. Interactive charts and visualizations allow customers to understand their data in ways that were simply not possible before.
ComQAT was developed to solve the problem of performing validation, quality assurance, and compliance testing on large LIDAR datasets. LIDAR data routinely measures in terabytes and validation was previously a manual process taking weeks or even months. ComQAT provides quality assurance by running a host of automated checks allowing turnaround times of LIDAR delivery to be drastically reduced.
As lead developer James designed the system architecture, wrote spatial analysis routines, and developed the UI.
